Position Summary

Job Purpose: Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and maintaining consistency across multiple cuisines.
Major Roles And Responsibilities (Job Details)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and oversee food preparation.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to restaurant standards.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring efficiency and teamwork.
  • Maintain high hygiene and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Develop new recipes and contribute to menu planning.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment.
  • Manage kitchen costs, minimize wastage, and ensure portion control.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across multiple cuisines.
  • Handle kitchen-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving problems efficiently.
  • Work closely with the service team to ensure seamless food service and guest satisfaction.
