Position Summary

Job Purpose: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates to meet organizational staffing needs. The role requires close collaboration with hiring managers, effective use of recruitment tools, and ensuring a positive candidate experience while maintaining high hiring standards.

Major Roles And Responsibilities (Job Details)

Key Responsibility Area (KRA):

  • Manpower Planning: Identify and assess manpower requirements in coordination with department heads and management.
  • HRF & JD Management: Coordinate Manpower Requisition and prepare/finalize Job Descriptions for new and replacement positions.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, and internal databases.
  • Screening & Shortlisting: Review applications and shortlist candidates in consultation with Line Managers based on job requirements and cultural fit.
  • Interview Coordination & Selection: Coordinate with Line Managers to plan and execute interview processes (virtual and in-person). Schedule interviews, follow up on feedback, and support in finalizing candidates.
  • Compensation Structuring: Prepare Salary Breakups in line with internal policies and benchmark standards; validate with Line Managers.
  • Approval Process: Prepare Compensation & Benefits approval sheets and obtain necessary management approvals.
  • Offer Management: Draft, Release, and follow up on offer letters to Selected Candidates.
  • Reference & Background Checks: Conduct reference verification and coordinate background screening processes if needed. Police Verification if required.
  • Onboarding & Induction: Ensure smooth onboarding of new hires and conduct induction/orientation programs.
  • Corporate Communication: Manage internal announcements and communication related to new joiners.
  • Recruitment MIS & Documentation: Maintain accurate recruitment data, CV databank, approval sheets, and reports (MIS).
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with Recruitment Agencies and external partners when required.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure adherence to company policies and labor regulations.
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Employer Branding: Support initiatives to strengthen the company’s employer brand through recruitment campaigns and social media engagement.
  • Recruitment Metrics & Reporting: Monitor key hiring metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness; prepare regular reports.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor practices.

 

Other HR operations:

  • Assist with Employee Engagement & Annual Health Check-up
  • Assist with Embassy Registration & Renewal. Third-party Contract Renewal and Coordination
  • Assist for Emp. Grievance / Disciplinary Action
  • Coordinate Quarterly Meeting with LRC / CBA / H&S Committee
  • Other activities as advised by the supervisor on a time-to-time basis.

 

Required Skills:

  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, coordination, and negotiation skills.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with ATS, Job Portals, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Analytical Ability: Capable of Maintaining MIS Reports and tracking recruitment metrics.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of recruitment practices, compensation structures, and labor laws.
  • Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, result-driven, and able to manage multiple hiring requirements efficiently.
