Job Purpose:
The Filler Operator Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating filling line operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. The role oversees filler operators, monitors machine performance, ensures compliance with quality and safety standards, and supports the achievement of production targets.
 

Key Responsibility Area (KRA):

1.Production Operations
• Operate and organize the Machine-Filling Machine-Bottle Filling, Can Filling & Keg Filling and filling station and all related equipment as per the SOPs given by Company.
• Lead and coordinate daily activities of filler operators during the shift. 
• Ensure filling machines are operated efficiently and according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 
• Monitor production output and line performance to meet production targets. 
• Conduct start-up, changeover, and shutdown activities of filling equipment. 
• Minimize downtime through effective troubleshooting and coordination with maintenance teams. 

2.Team Leadership
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to filler operators. 
• Assign tasks and monitor team performance during shifts. 
• Train new operators on machine operation, safety procedures, and quality standards. 
• Promote teamwork and a positive work environment. 

3.Quality Assurance
• Ensure products meet established quality standards and specifications. 
• Verify proper filling volumes, labeling, packaging, and product integrity. 
• Maintain accurate production and quality records. 
• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to address quality issues. 
 
4.Safety & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures. 
• Promote safe working practices and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). 
• Report and investigate safety incidents, hazards, and near misses. 
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in the production area. 

5.Equipment Maintenance
• Perform routine inspections of filling equipment. 
• Support preventive maintenance activities. 
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions promptly. 
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to resolve technical issues.
 
6.Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare and maintain shift production reports. 
• Record machine downtime, production output, and operational issues. 
• Communicate shift performance and concerns to supervisors.
