Position Summary	Job Purpose: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef/Baker to join our team at Bakery 1. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality pastries, cakes, and baked goods that meet our customers' expectations. They will have a passion for pastry and baking, and a desire to continually improve their skills and knowledge.
Major Roles And Responsibilities (Job Details)	Key Responsibility Area (KRA): Develop and execute recipes for pastries, cakes, and baked goods. Maintain a high level of quality and consistency in all baked products. Monitor inventory and ensure that all necessary ingredients and supplies are on hand. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace. Train and supervise kitchen staff on pastry techniques and procedures. Develop and manage a schedule for production, taking into account customer demand and seasonal availability of ingredients. Stay up-to-date with current pastry and baking trends and techniques. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to create menus and develop new pastry offerings. Manage food costs and maintain appropriate inventory levels. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
